Welcome Reception at the Brunnier
The Iowa State Deans, Vice President for Research, Vice President for Extension and Outreach, and University Museums would like to welcome everyone back to campus at a reception in the Brunnier Art Museum. ISU faculty and staff are encouraged to attend to greet colleagues and network while also celebrating the opening of the new portrait exhibition - Faces of Iowa State. All are welcome to attend. Refreshments will be provided.

Fused Glass Pendant Walk-In
Design a one-of-a-kind pendant while learning the basics of glass fusing.
Barrel racing competition
The ISU Rodeo Club hosts a biweekly barrel racing summer series. Warmups begin at 5:30 p.m., spectators are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair; no grandstand seating is available. Contestants of all ages can enter, including youth (18 and younger). Top performers win cash prizes. Additional proceeds from the entry fees support club activities.
Grandma Mojo's Moonshine Revival Comedy Troupe
Grandma Mojo's Moonshine Revival is Iowa State University's student comedy, improv group. Holding shows on some Wednesday nights, you can come and laugh to your hearts content at the Mojos, and with the Mojos.

Kids Story Time
This much-loved storytelling program has returned with a strong literacy focus every week.
Bookmobile: Ames Public Library
In partnership with the university library, the Ames Public Library's Bookmobile added a regular Iowa State stop to its weekly route. The Bookmobile will park in the turnaround driveway between Parks Library and Morrill Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursdays. Items from the Ames Public Library (for all ages) can be checked out, returned or reserved in advance for pick up.

Auditions are open to all ISU students. There are also a number of roles available to adults ages 40 and over.

A quick and dirty (glittery) craft! Pick a vintage postcard and choose an element in the imagery that you'd like to redesign, then glue and glitter.

LEAD Retreat
The Student Activities Center in collaboration with the Department of Residence hosts an off campus, overnight retreat for the top student organization leaders at Iowa State. Specific organizations will be invited to attend based on their impact to the student body and Iowa State as a whole. The camp goes from Saturday to Sunday.

Geographer is an indie rock band based in San Francisco, California. Lead singer Michael Deni describes his sound as being "soulful music from outer space" using analog, electronic and acoustic elements to craft dense layers and unique sound textures.
