Education professor Bob Reason researches how individual student behaviors are encouraged and discouraged by classroom climates. Learn to size mats, cut straight and beveled edges, and hinge mount artwork. Bring a 5 x 7 or smaller art piece with you to class. This class is required in order to use the mat cutter on your own.
Wheel Pottery Class
Students will be guided through all aspects of forming bowls, mugs, vases and more on the pottery wheel. Learn handle-pulling, glazing and finishing techniques. Open to absolute beginners as well as those with experience who would like to improve their technique and abilities.
Screen Printing Class
Learn an inexpensive way to create custom t-shirts. Using your own design, learn to make a screen with the photographic emulsion method. Bring in your shirts and print away! This class is required in order to use our screen printing equipment.

Can Online Map Games Predict the Future? From Chess to Multi-Agent Spatial Modeling and Simulation
Ola Ahlqvist, associate professor of geography at Ohio State University, will introduce five broad themes in the convergence of mapping and gaming technologies: spatial analysis, Web 2.0, virtual worlds, geodesign and cyberlearning.
