You might bee surprised by what you learn from this program and tour! ;) Iowa has at least 300 species of native bees, nesting in places like plants, wood, and the ground under our feet. When their populations are healthy, biodiversity and food for wildlife increases, not to mention all the food crops that survive by bee pollination for us humans!

Join Entomology staff for a short program about our native bees, and then take a walk in the Gardens to look for some in different locations on site.
