She has more than 12 years of experience working as an Instructional Designer in both county government and higher education--and enjoys applying course design and delivery solutions that offer learners a meaningful experience. As an instructional designer, Tracy provides campus-wide quality assurance (QA) course and program design support, facilitates workshops focused on QA for online/hybrid and instructional technologies, conducts informal quality assurance course and program reviews, and has conducted research on the development and effectiveness of a student online orientation module via a design-based research cycle.
Christine Fundell is an Accessibility Specialist at CSUSB. She has 10 years of experience helping students with disabilities access digital content. Christine started her career in higher education as a graduate student working with faculty members to develop an online master's degree program. *About Quality Matters
ISU holds an institutional membership with Quality Matters. Quality Matters (QM) is a nationally recognized peer review and certification process in which online course design is evaluated by a panel of external reviewers against eight specific standards of quality outlined in the QM Rubric. These standards emphasize: the course overview and introduction; learning goals and objectives; assessment of student learning; instructional materials; course activities and learner interaction; technology; learner support; and accessibility and usability.
