**This Teaching & Learning Circle meets for 4 consecutive Fridays: September 25, October 2, 9, and 16 from 12:10 - 1:00 p.m.**
We will explore the definitions of reflection; the many purposes of reflective practices, and how reflections are used as a pragmatic approach to evaluate and critique critical thinking. We will focus on reflections as an essential part of critical thinking. We will show examples of how we can use students' reflections to examine cognitive growth and critical thinking maturity. Finally, we will demonstrate how students with certain perspectives and maturity in their critical thinking learn to self-critique, develop mastery and become lifelong learners. Facilitated by Mani Mina, Senior Lecturer, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
