Construction of the Interlock House is commencing outdoors (the basic structure was completed indoors). Talk with the students and faculty involved in the project.

The ISU team is one of 20 from colleges and universities around the world competing in the U.S. Department of Energy's biennial Solar Decathlon competition to design, build and operate the most attractive, effective and energy-efficient solar-powered house. The contest will be held Oct. 9-18 in Washington, D.C.
