Stash The Trash
Stash the Trash is a volunteer effort that brings students and community members together to help clean up the Ames community. The event is supported by the City of Ames, Iowa State University and Iowa Home Consulting. Volunteers can choose to work alone, with a group of people, or with an organization - and clean-up their neighborhood or favorite outdoor area.

Explore the many trees, from artistic to realistic, on exhibit in the Brunnier Art Museum! Families are invited to create their own trees, learn to recognize different types of trees, and more with ISU Natural Resource and Ecology Management students.

Cyclone Cinema: Nosferatu
Cyclone Cinema is presented by the Student Union Board and showcases a variety of film genres, screening a different movie every weekend Thursday - Sunday during the semester. Sunday film screenings are in open caption format. All other screenings can be open caption as well, as long as the request is made to the staff prior to the movie starting.
Performing Arts Series: Ballet Des Moines
The world premier of a "Romeo and Juliet" production choreographed by Tom Mattingly with live music by the Ballet Des Moines Orchestra. The incredible dancers of Ballet Des Moines pour their hearts into their roles, embodying the intensity of love, longing, and despair.
