Majors Fair
More than 100 Iowa State major and minor degree programs will be represented in one room. The Majors Fair is for any students who are Open Option, undecided, thinking about changing their major, want a second major, or are interested in adding a minor.
Workshop: Git basics for absolute beginners
Git is a version control system: it tracks and manages changes to your files over time and allows you to include explanations for each change. This workshop will introduce you to how it works, its benefits, and how to get started. This workshop is for anyone that works with plain text data and code but requires no prior knowledge of Git. You will need a Windows, Mac, or Linux computer to participate. Registration required.
Seminar: The neurobiology of sickness

Agriculture in Context: The 1930s and the "Fountain of the Four Seasons"
Dr. Pamela Riney Kehrberg, Professor of History, Iowa State Univ., will discuss the historical agricultural context of the 1930s and 40s, during which Christian Petersen was creating the imagery for the "Fountain of the Four Seasons". Discover what farming practices were typical during that time and compare them to the depictions in the fountain as well as modern practices.
