Lecture: "Emotional Intelligence Technology and Autism"
Rosalind Picard is the author of Affective Computing, a book instrumental in starting a new field by that name. She is teaching machines to sense and respond more intelligently to people's emotions and to behave in ways that make more expressive communication possible.

Lecture: "The Power of Forgiving"
Everett Worthington, professor of psychology, Virginia Commonwealth University, will speak about insights gleaned from two decades of research on forgiveness. He has authored over 20 books and 200 journal articles, many on forgiveness. He is the author of "The Power of Forgiving." The presentation is made possible by a grant from The Fetzer Institute, and is sponsored by Network, a group counseling program in Iowa State's psychology department.
