WE Lead: Women's Empowerment and Leadership Conference
WE Lead brings students together to network with each other, as well as female leaders at Iowa State and the Central Iowa community. Participants will have the opportunity to hone their leadership skills, engage in interactive discussions and networking sessions, and reflect on their own leadership qualities and what they have to offer in their respective roles at Iowa State and beyond.

This two-hour interactive, hands-on workshop is open to all Iowa State University instructors and instructional designers to explore the Gradebook and discover student data available in a Canvas course.
Research workshop: Export Controls - General Session
This session will teach you about physical and IT security measures for export control plans, and introduces you to the concept of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). You'll learn how to implement security measures for your research data and interests, and gain a better understanding of why these security measures are necessary.
Friday Research Seminar: Urban Investments: Architecture, Detroit and Late Fordism
Doug Spencer, director of graduate education in the Department of Architecture, will talk about urban investment in Detroit through the critical analysis of the campuses, open-plan office spaces and refurbished civic spaces proposed by Ford Motor Company.
Snowblower Service Days
Hosted by members of the Agricultural Systems Technology Club. Drop off snowblowers anytime during the service hours. The service includes oil, grease, spark plug and a half tank of gas. Continues Nov. 3.
