Workshop: Silk scarves
Create a beautiful impressionistic silk scarf using silk dyes. Iowa artist Sally Rasmussen will teach you this fun and easy technique using silk dyes, shaving cream, and a microwave! Everyone goes home with their own beautiful silk scarf. Lesson, supplies and two silk pieces included with registration fee.

Dan Douglas, professor of English, TESL/Applied Linguistics, is retiring. An international potluck picnic will be held in his honor.

Traditional Yucatan dinner
The Iowa-Yucatan Partners of the Americas will host, and Chef Minelia Romero from Merida, Mexico, and ISU's Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management Club will prepare and serve the traditional dinner. A second seating will begin at 8 p.m. Reservations are requested by April 27.
Performance: "Vinegar Tom"
ISU Theatre stages this edgy and provocative production set in the 17th century, when women across England were being tried as witches. The feminist play explores religious hypocrisy and exploitation by following the lives of seven women.
