Join naturalist Jim Pease, Ph.D. in a wander through the exhibition In the Woods by Jeanine Coupe Ryding, as he shares stories, thoughts, and readings about humans' complex relationship with trees.

Jim Pease has over five decades of experience teaching in and about the natural world. As a field naturalist, a front-line interpreter, a professor of wildlife ecology, a paddler and hiker, and an involved community activist, Pease brings a wealth of experience outdoors to this exhibition. Well-known across Iowa, he has worked in Costa Rica, Brazil, Panama, Russia, and Taiwan and led natural history trips to many other countries in Central and South America, Alaska, and Africa.
