Iowa State's geographic information systems (GIS) facility is celebrating Earth Observation Day with an open house. Mapping enthusiasts and anyone interested in STEM activities are invited to attend (bring a laptop if you have one). No previous experience is required.

Activities will include a pizza lunch, mini mapathon and a lecture about remote sensing research. Information about GIS and remote sensing education opportunities at Iowa State, including classes, a GIS minor, GIS certfication and work-study opportunities, also will be available.
