Opening reception for the "Radford Davis: Life of Sierra Leone" exhibit. The photos capture the lives, conditions, and challenges of the people in one of the poorest countries on Earth. Davis is an associate professor of public health in the College of Veterinary Medicine. His passion is documenting our world and its people through photo essays.

With over half of the population living on less than $1.25 a day, many in Sierra Leone struggle to get enough to eat or pay for medicine. But the exhibit goes deeper, capturing the hope and joy that is beneath the surface.
