Meets every 2 weeks on Tuesdays: Jan. 28, Feb. 11, 25, and March 11. The possibilities for incorporating writing into a course are endless, but the choices also can be overwhelming. What types of assignments will work in my course? How can I respond efficiently to student writing?

Join the director of the Writing & Media Center for an in-depth, cross-disciplinary conversation on incorporating writing into courses across the curriculum. Using John C. Bean's Engaging Ideas: The Professor's Guide to Integrating Writing, Critical Thinking, and Active Learning in the Classroom as a springboard, we will explore how to make writing assignments work effectively for both you and your students.

Facilitator: Rachel Azima, Director, Writing & Media Center
