Autumn Cartagena is an academic adviser in sociology and anthropology.

Autumn will be joining her husband, Jensen, who is currently at Fort Lee, Va., for military training. After he has completed his training, they plan to move back to northern Iowa.

Autumn has enjoyed working as an academic advisor for sociology and anthropology through her tenure at Iowa State. She has volunteered countless hours to help raise awareness for support for military families and transition services for student veterans. Many students have expressed their gratitude to Autumn for her advice on their course schedules, helping them with ISU orientation, and simply being there to listen if they had a problem.
