VEISHEA Service Day/Stash the Trash is an event organized by VEISHEA, Keep Iowa State Beautiful, and Stash the Trash.
VEISHEA Service Day projects for volunteers this year include cleaning up parks with the Ames Girls Softball Association, spring cleaning with the Octagon Center for the Arts and the Ballard Community Clothing Pantry, helping at Heartland Senior Services, and cleaning up Campustown with the Campustown Action Association. Litter pick up will take place on and off campus through Stash the Trash and Keep Iowa State Beautiful.
Trash bags and gloves will be available in the Reiman Gardens parking lot the day of the event. A free lunch and free admission to Reiman Gardens also will be offered to all volunteers. Anyone interested in volunteering can register online at www.veishea.iastate.edu/service.
