Dr. Stephanie Majewski, Brookhaven National Laboratory

I will discuss a measurement of the azimuthal decorrelation in central high-pT dijet events with the ATLAS detector. The cross-section measurement is based on proton-proton interactions at a center-of-mass energy of √s = 7 TeV with an integrated luminosity of 315 ± 35 nb−1. The results are compared to a next-to-leading order perturbative QCD calculation and several Monte Carlo event generators, all of which provide a reasonable description of the normalized differential cross section. I will also present a strategy for an indirect Supersymmetry search using dijet events.
