Opening reception for "Powers of 10," an exhibition featuring the work of 60 students from the spring 2010 second-year architecture studio in the College of Design.

"Powers of 10" features the work of 60 students from the Spring 2010 second-year architecture studio (ARCH 202). The examples - including models, drawings and collages, both digital and handmade - illustrate a pedagogical strategy of working on a series of quick, iterative assignments which build up to a body of work. Course instructors were Karen Bermann, Cameron Campbell, Patience Lueth and Kimberly Zarecor.

Gallery 181 is located on the first floor of the College of Design building, next to the Design Cafe. Public viewing hours for this exhibition are 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. weekdays through Sept. 5, 2010. Admission is free.
